Two new species of free-living nematodes of the family Leptolaimidae from the coastal zone of southern Vietnam and from the Mekong River delta are described and illustrated. Leptolaimoides abnormis sp. n. differs from L. cangioensis Hoang Lai- Phu et al. 2009 in the longer amphidial fovea and spicules, the presence of two dorsal apophysis and precloacal seta in males and of short and tubular spinneret. Leptoplectonema lissum sp. n. differs from L. fuegoense Coomans et Raski 1991 in the shorter and thicker body, shorter tail and cardia, and the presence of clearer lateral field consisted of two lines. The diagnosis of the genus Leptoplectonema Coomans et Raski 1991 was refined.
